A Promptly Written Poem: All I Have is Me

Scared of frauds, I ran to the South.

To all the people, I was having infinity doubts.

One told me to believe in stars.

Trusting them, I ended up trapped in lies.

I was trying hard to find a key.

They said it could cure scars completely.

“Run! Don’t stop like it’s a rally.”

Halfway, I was all bloody.

Slowly getting tired of the harsh reality.

The moment I started to cry, I met a fairy.

Dressed like a bully, she sat next to me.

“Hey, Buddy. Do you want a cup of tea?”

As the sun drown into the sea,

she looked into my eyes dearly.

Told me that all the pains were temporary,

but the lessons I got were for infinity.

I continued my journey.

Arrived at the end but there was nobody.

I sat under a big tree, feeling all lonely.

But then, I remembered the fairy.

I realized she was nobody else but me.
